Ok, so first of all, let me just say that im not a bad student. Bascially, we had to do this huge project our senior year, which involved a paper and a presentation, and a bunch of stuff in between. My topic was clay animation. I never did the paper(Procrastinated, then just couldn’t find enough info in time). However, i worked for two weeks on an actual clay animation to put into my presentation slideshow. As usual, I procrastinate and wait until the very last night to prepare my powerpoint. I finish at around 1:30 am, put all my stuff together, put the video in there, and go to sleep. The next morning, I was very nervous of course( we were presenting to 3 people who we did not know). Lucky for me, my presentation wasn’t until 10am or so, so i had time to go over my notes. Finally, it is my turn to do my presentation. Everything is fine, I go through all my slides, and finally its time to show my two weeks of hard work. So, I click on the last slide to start the video, and nothing happens. I was mortified and totally embarrassed. It turned out I never uploaded the video, only an image. And i was too lazy and tired the night I was working on my power point to check everything. Of course I should have known to include the video on the flash drive. Well, you wouldn’t believe it, but they gave me a perfect score, despite the fact I was missing half my presentation. Perhaps it was pity, I’ll never know. I learned my lesson though. Now I always check all of my power points, to make sure everything is properly saved and works on another computer. Can’t take any chances.
